Nothing's stopping you from poring through the Congressional Record or watching C-SPAN all day, but Pocket Congress enhances accessibility and searchability of information concerning the activities of your representatives and the Congress as a whole.

Key features of the app include:
<ul>
 <li>Viewing recent bills in Congress</li>
 <li>Finding your Representative using your zip code</li>
 <li>Accessing Congress members' votes on recent bills</li>
 <li>Reading brief descriptions about representatives and viewing voting trends</li>
 <li>Directly calling their office via the app</li>
 <li>Following bills and receiving updates on their progress</li>
</ul>

In addition, users have the ability to search through recent bills or navigate 30 years of historical data with features such as:

<ul>
 <li>Category-based search, e.g., 'healthcare' or 'environmental'</li>
 <li>Searching by bill name</li>
 <li>Advanced search options for bill number and custom filters </li>
</ul>

The legislative process stage of each bill and a Congressional Research Service-authored bill text summary are provided for all bills.

The app also allows users to share links to specific bills and congress members, enabling educational outreach or social media communication.
